If by chance a global pandemic should rise
Spreading germs and disease through the world’s lonely skies
And the main consequence is the one that we dread
That millions of people become the undead

Then I want you to know from the core of my heart
That if worrying symptoms cause something to start
And you change to a strange sort of humanoid shell
I’ll continue to love you and still treat you well

For if you’re just snarling and biting at me
I’ll assume that you’re doing it affectionately
And we’ll still carry on in a weird jerky dance
As we live out our dreams in a zombie romance

I know there’ll be changes that we’ll have to make
You’ll prefer to eat people instead of fruit cake

And you’ll have to strapped to your side of the bed

But as daylight fades and you gibber and moan
